The calibratable high-performance trans-shipment weighing systems of OAS AG are designed serially for the acceptance and transfer operation. The special weighing systems are suitable for the internal and external installation. The trans-shipment weighing system is controlled by the microprocessor based weighing terminal SWT. Optionally, the weighing system can be operated by means of a superordinated PC-application (like the in-house process control system ProNTo or the logistic software Logis). Thus, a very extensive data administration and visualisation of the operation process is possible. The creation of daily protocols as well as the control of material sums, master data administration for vehicles, customers, sorts and material types can be made individually in the weighing terminal and via the software application.

Reliable weighing processes

The pre-hopper and the weighing hopper are equipped with one or two electro-pneumatically actuated inlet and outlet flaps with the required sealing and final position switches. The filling system is designed for the coarse and trickle flow dosing. The pre-hopper, weighing hopper and post hopper are located inside a hermetically sealed housing. Thus, no special, constructive pressure equalisation systems are required. The dust remains inside the system and no special dust filter is required. Problems with the air circulation that often appear regarding high-performance trans-shipment weighing systems are impossible.

A level indicator avoids the over-filling of the weighing hopper. The weighing system, that is a maintenance and wear free weighing system is designed in stainless steel and equipped with four load cells. The system is constructed with a special fixture for the installation of the calibration weights.

The trans-shipment weighing system is pre-assembled by OAS and delivered ready for connection.
