For a renowned German manufacturer of paints, varnishes and construction chemicals, we are modernising the production plant at its Saxon production site. The modernisation includes a new small component dosing system, a new ATEX-compliant central dedusting system for the mixing tower including the new small component dosing station and the introduction of our pronto process control system (MES) as the central production control system.
Combining process visualisation, operation and control of production processes
The small component dosing station allows the automated handling of bagged goods and raw materials delivered in BigBags. The raw materials can be automatically dosed via the integrated container and small component scales and then fed into the production process. With our pronto Process control system, we are establishing a modern, modular system that has been specially developed for the processes in paint and lacquer production and the construction chemicals industry. The combination of process visualisation, operation and control of the production processes will in future provide the plant personnel in the control room with an ergonomic interface with which all functions of the production plant can be operated.
