Big bag discharging station: functions and components
The frameworks of the stations fulfil various functions. Chain blocks and portable top frames serve an economic change of the big bags. Adjustable top frames allow discharging of big bags of different volumes. Fast and complete emptying of the trading units is ensured by the automatic tightening of the big bags by means of a spring system in the top frame or by means of an automatic height adjustment of the chain block. Supports are designed as crush protection to provide for safe handling of the big bags.

Moreover, the big bag discharging stations can be further adjusted to the corresponding demand. When emptying disposable big bags, pyramid knives or cross knives open the fabric to allow the material inside to rapidly flow into the further process. Buffer containers controlled by request messages can be used to cover the big bag changing time without resulting in bottlenecks regarding the material supply.
