We are supplying three vehicle scales and five self-service terminals for automated and efficient weighing operations at the port location of a North German recycling and waste disposal company.
The vehicle weighing solutions are part of a new recycling plant for sustainable resource production at a seaport in northern Germany. Pre-treatment will reduce the transport volume of secondary raw materials by up to 38% in future, saving on traffic and emissions.
The three ESB vehicle scales, each 18 metres long, consist of a single-piece reinforced concrete vehicle scale bridge. A non-slip road surface and a waterproof reinforced concrete weighbridge pit ensure a particularly robust and durable construction. At the same time, the well-thought-out design enables quick installation on site, so that operation can be started quickly and reliably.
With five OAS Logistic Terminals installed, lorry drivers will be able to weigh their vehicles themselves in future – quickly, conveniently and without the need for additional staff. The terminals ensure that all entries and exits are recorded in a manner that is secure for documentation purposes. For maximum process reliability, the vehicle weighing systems are also equipped with traffic barriers, induction loops and cameras.
The project is rounded off by the wcon-I weighing indicator, which processes the measurement data and converts it into exact weight values, and the wcon-S software module, which displays the calibratable weight data on a PC and stores it reliably.
