We are supplying a comprehensive Yard Management System (YMS) to a leading international building materials manufacturer for its Spanish production site. The system comprises our logis Yard Management System and several OAS Logistic Terminals for the self-service handling of transport operations on the factory premises.
In future, all site traffic – from the delivery of raw materials to the dispatch of finished goods – will be fully automated. The OAS Yard Management System efficiently manages all key yard logistics processes from a single source: from self-service driver registration and vehicle weighing, through automated call-up and data transfer to the overarching ERP system, right through to the issuance of transport documents.
The Logistic Terminals installed are specifically designed for harsh industrial environments. An integrated touchscreen with a resistive surface and automatic brightness control ensures maximum readability and intuitive operation – even under the intense Spanish sun and in challenging on-site conditions.
With the logis software solution, the customer maintains a comprehensive overview of vehicle traffic throughout the entire time vehicles are on site and manages it centrally. This sustainably enhances transparency, efficiency and process reliability.
