Based in Gummersbach, JSC Baustoffvertriebs GmbH & Co. KG unites various companies from the bulk materials, asphalt and construction waste recycling sectors. In addition to the production and sale of high-quality sands, gravels, stone chippings and rolled asphalt, the group of companies also offers its customers a comprehensive portfolio of services including the disposal and processing of construction waste as well as various logistics services. This wide-ranging service portfolio generates a large number of different business processes, from recording services at the weighbridge to invoicing and billing. For over 20 years, JSC has relied on emaxx, the OAS industry software for the bulk goods industry and waste management, to handle its centralised processes.

From the first to the current emaxx generation, the group has operated all versions of emaxx over the past 20 years. The group places the highest value on uncompromising quality in both its products and the provision of its services. Due to the wide-ranging service portfolio, there are very heterogeneous operating processes at the various locations. To ensure smooth processing, JSC therefore requires comprehensive merchandise management software that can map the central business processes of the individual locations, such as service recording on truck scales, quotation and order management, invoicing and documentation, in a single solution.

Solution

Our emaxx merchandise management software, which specialises in weighing processes, handles all central processes at the four production sites and the administration site. These range from quotation and order management, scheduling, execution of weighing processes and creation of freight credit notes to the transfer of invoicing to financial accounting. Thanks to intelligent data replication, emaxx stores all data at the four production sites completely independently of the central administration site. This guarantees maximum reliability.

JSC can use the emaxx customer portal to make delivery notes directly available to its customers for download, thus further streamlining the processing of business transactions.
