We are expanding the production facility at a site in Brandenburg for a leading manufacturer of building materials. The aim of the project is to increase production capacity at the site and thereby boost delivery capacity in the long term.
The existing plant is currently designed to convey wet sand. The integration of an additional bypass pipe for conveying dry sand provides a further option for flexibly controlling the flow of material from the sand silo and adapting it to the specific requirements of the production process. This allows alternative conveying routes to be utilised and the supply of material to the subsequent process stages to be organised more flexibly.
In addition to engineering and installation, we also handle the integration of the extension into the existing plant control system and electrical design. To this end, the pronto process control system is expanded to include the plant’s new control components.
