Modernisation of plant logistics for North Rhine-Westphalian building materials producer

We are modernising the plant logistics, including the logis software application, for a long-established family business in the building materials industry that has been operating successfully on the market for several generations and has numerous sites in Germany.

As part of this project, SWT's existing logistic terminals were upgraded to the latest Wcon technology. In addition, the existing yard management solution logis was updated to meet today's requirements. Logis 2.0, an innovative application that significantly simplifies and streamlines the handling of logistical processes related to vehicles within a plant, ensures that all processes - from entering the premises to receiving and issuing delivery documents and weighing operations - are seamless and secure. The system enables seamless tracking and control of vehicles during their stay at the plant, which increases transparency and significantly improves control over logistics processes.

This results in seamless tracking and control of the vehicle while it is in the factory. With these modernisations, the family-owned company is taking an important step towards future-proof, digital logistics.
