scaleo Truck and Scale Automation in Europe's largest canal port

For an international logistics service provider, we are supplying our scaleo software for the self-service handling of truck traffic at its logistics site in the Port of Dortmund, the largest canal port in Europe. With the help of scaleo Truck and Scale Automation and the OAS Logistic Terminals, incoming and outgoing trucks can be handled automatically and self-service in the future. This will reduce the workload of the employees on site and at the same time speed up throughput times on the factory premises.

In future, trucks will be guided through the site quickly, conveniently and reliably using a process sequence that can be configured by the user at any time in the scaleo Process Designer. From entry and registration through loading and unloading to exit, scaleo controls and documents all relevant process steps. Different application scenarios can also be defined, e.g. for truck transports, courier express parcel services (CEP) or visitors.

Several robust OAS Logistic terminals equipped with touch displays, QR/barcode scanners, laser printers, signature pads and intercom stations are available along the process chain for simple data capture and document output. Data is automatically exchanged with the higher-level ERP system via a corresponding interface.

scaleo: individual process sequences with low implementation costs

As standardized software, scaleo allows individual process sequences with comparatively little implementation effort. In addition to plant logistics tasks, scaleo can also be used to integrate weighing components such as truck scales into the processes in a calibration-compliant manner.
