We are supplying a state-of-the-art yard management system to handle the logistics processes at another site belonging to an internationally active food producer.
In order to optimally manage pick-ups from a high-bay warehouse, operations at the new site will in future be supported by an OAS Yard Management System. The central element of the system is our yard management software, logis. Via connected OAS Logistic Terminals, the system enables the efficient and resource-saving handling of plant logistics processes in continuous 24/7 operation. In addition to driver registration, these terminals also allow for the printing of accompanying documents.
The integrated touchscreen, featuring a resistive touch-sensitive surface and automatic brightness control, ensures optimum readability – even in bright daylight. A Wcon-F remote display has also been installed outdoors to ensure reliable display of weight readings and axle loads.
Drivers are summoned and access to the site is managed via large displays and traffic management systems controlled by the system. By providing seamless tracking and control of all vehicles on the premises, the system enhances transparency and significantly improves control over all logistics processes. This ensures smooth, future-proof operations at the site.
