We are constructing a new production facility for construction chemical products for a leading global manufacturer of fixing systems. The dry material plant for 2-K production comprises seven solid silos for storing large components. Two big bag emptying stations are also being added for raw materials delivered in big bags.
Pneumatic feeding is used for automated transport to the day bins assigned to the respective raw materials. Frequency-controlled dosing screws are used to dose the materials into mobile weighing units. Additional bag feeding stations for small components and bagged goods are also planned at the dissolver and mixer level. Dust extraction for the plant is provided by a comprehensive filter system for all plant components.
As the plant is being built in an existing building, the existing structures must be taken into account during the engineering phase.
The plant is operated and controlled via our pronto process control system in conjunction with a PLC control system. Pronto connects the visualisation level with the control level and is specially optimised for the requirements of construction chemical production. In addition to engineering and process automation, we are also responsible for switchgear construction and electrical design in this project. The result is a uniform, perfectly coordinated plant concept from a single source.
