Additional options

  • Upturns made of concrete are located at both longitudinal sides of the weighbridge to position the vehicle correctly on the scales.

    This reduces the effective width of roadway to 2.69 m. They help to reliably guide the vehicle to the centre of the scales.

  • The cover on weighbridge gaps comprises of a cover profile made of rubber (or as an alternative made of steel) for longitudinal protection against foreign matters (dirt, product, etc.), which otherwise could enter the scales foundation.

  • Additional inspection openings in each bridge segment for flush-mounted structures are possible.

Scales for passenger cars

Perfect for passenger cars or Sprinters

The calibratable scales for passenger cars are perfect to weigh small vehicles, such as passenger cars, Sprinters, or transporters of up to 7.5 t of less total length than large lorries (40 t) and often used to deliver small quantities.

Our truck scales for small quantities feature a smaller bridge, which can be used to realise weighing ranges of up to 10 tons in an optimum manner.

The realisation of a scale interval of 5 or 10 kg allows to considerably reduce the minimum load for weighing procedures (5 kg => 100 kg minimum load / 10 kg => 200 kg minimum load), which leads to weighing compliant with the German Standards and Measures Law MessEG of small quantities (compared to a scales of 60 t with a scale interval of 20 kg and a minimum load of 400 kg).

It must be pointed out that the values resulting from weighing procedures of loads below the minimum load shall not be used for invoicing in business dealings. Any infringement of this constitutes a breach of an administrative rule.

  • We offer heavy-load scales with a weighing range of up to 100 t, assumed loads acc. to DIN 8119 with a load per axle of 16.5 t.

  • The realisation of composite scales includes the opportunity to group several load carriers (bridges).
    In this way, the individual load carriers (weighbridges) can be actuated separately or as a group.

SOLAS scales for sea containers

With a set of SOLAS scales by OAS, you are prepared for

compliant and calibrated weighing of sea containers.

With the implementation of the SOLAS rules and regulations on 01 June 2016, all containers shall be weighed in a certified manner prior to loading onto a sea vessel. The gross mass of the container (tare weight + all freight objects, incl. pallets and packaging) shall be collected and documented.
