For a globally operating German company in the field of potato starch-based foodstuffs, we are implementing a further yard management solution for the transparent and effective handling of passenger and goods traffic as well as the self-service loading and weighing of truck vehicles. With the current equipment of the next location, we are intensifying our long-standing cooperation with the customer, for whom we have already equipped other locations.
Seamless tracking and control of vehicle traffic while in the factory
In addition to the introduction of our yard management software logis, the restructuring of the plant logistics processes also includes various OAS Logistic Terminals for the personnel-friendly, self-operated processing of driver registrations, first and second weighings and loadings. Due to their modular design, the OAS Logistic Terminals can always be individually configured according to the respective process requirements, e.g. with touch screens, barcode scanners for recording contracts/delivery authorisations, A4 laser printers for document output and telephone intercoms.
The OAS Yard Management solution enables the customer to seamlessly track and control vehicle traffic while in the plant. The implementation of an interface to the existing ERP system is part of the scope of services, as is the connection of the existing vehicle scales to the OAS Yard Management System.
